Last I knew he was with MS (multiple sclerosis) & fading. Always enjoyed his writings. Wishing him well IF still upright

He's gone from here, but he posts when he can on another forum. It's pretty rare these days that he can even light a pipe.

Martin and I joined within a few days of each other. I miss his posts. Shame that his illness has taken its toll on him. I knew he was posting on another forum, but I didn't know things had gotten extra bad for him.
