So a few nights ago I was curious to see what the Korean original Good Doctor show (what the Freddie Highmore one is based on) and once again it is a binge fest. There are many similarities between the two and a few differences as well. First off as per most Korean shows I have watched ( I dated a Korean woman for several years and watching KBC with her helped me with my Korean) most TV shows, even dramas, have the comedy relief scenes and this one is no different. Even tho they can be campy and silly I did find them funny. Next is watching the show as a person from western culture that may not understand the deference and respect people in higher positions and who are older receive. There is so much to absorb in understanding why families would react in situations the way they do and how co-workers interact with each other. The stories are good and will keep you interested and even though some of the secondary storylines can be silly overall the show is binge worthy. The shows are in Korean with English subtitles. You can watch them on the VIKI App.

Korea has a long history of film and cinema. It's no surprise that they put out a quality TV series. One of my favorite movies is War of the Arrows. If you ever want to know where Tarantino gets his ideas from....
The full movie is available on Youtube for free.
