Any other boneheads out there? I just cant get enough Morgan Bones pipes. They smoke better than $200 pipes I have and I love the rugged look. I even like the "flaws" that some of them have. This turns some people off of them, but I haven't heard of anyone having a failure due to them. One of the best parts is the customer service. The CEO is very involved with his customers. There is a reason that they have an almost cult like following and that they sell out so fast. If you haven't tried them out and are looking for a cheaper rugged pipe I highly recommend them.

I was just reading over this and realized that it almost sounds like a commercial lol. Sorry but I just love these pipes and cant praise them enough.

Price is rarely an indication of how a pipe will smoke. I have many great smoking cheap pipes, but I get more satisfaction from the ascetic finishes on my Radice, Savinelli and Peterson pipes. I buy mostly estates so the price isn't that bad. I have heard nothing but good about the Bones pipes, but they have no appeal for me.

I currently have four Bones; two I smoke regularly, one I smoke less often as I think of it as a cold weather pipe, and one I'm going to stain before I start smoking it. I've also gifted a few. I think they are good pipes and even better considering the cost. They smoke well and are as rugged as they come. The stem/button work could be better, but that can be said for many pipes.

I have the Zulu dog nosewarmer - it's a great pipe. I have no bones about the bones.

I just received my first bones pipe it's pretty good. Haven't smoked it yet. It's a rugged looking pipe that's for sure.

I have three of them. They're a great value and all of them smoke great, and I do love the rustic look.

Typically, I only buy pipes that have certain design features. If it fails this test, I don't even see the pipe.
A year or three ago, someone on one of the pipe forums I frequent, offered a Morgan Bones pipe for a very good price. It met none of my design criteria and added several new "DON'T BUY!" features to my list.
I think I will smoke this pipe later today.
Basically, Morgan Bones provides a inexpensive way to take a gamble on a pipe. I won on this one!
