Strange but I haven't been able to find liquid hand soap around here for at least the last 3 months..Just a bottle here and there..All the stores usually have plenty..For some reason now none of them do..Today I finally found a good supply at Big Lot..I stocked up..I'm good for the duration now..Funny thing is that's not what I went there for.

A few weeks ago, my neighbor's wife sent him to Walmart for peach sent hand soap; lemon was on close-out for 2 for a buck...like any guy would do, he got home with four lemon sent hand soap...as you already guessed, she made him go back for peach and I got the lemon at the discount price!!

We have it in most stores in central Illinois, but the "selection" is very limited.
Same with hand sanitizer, ammo, guns, meat, .....

No lack of soap here, but stores have discontinued their Clorox wipe racks as they sell out online before the stores can get them.

My dad introduced that to me decades ago when he was showing me how to do car repairs. Love that stuff.👍

There was a shortage here for a while. Not so much now, but we got some bars of soap just in case.

Shweetie came in the house the other day with a solid block of glycerin soap that seemed about the size of a loaf of bread. I dont ask questions. But knowing Shweetie, the soap situation in this house is on solid ground.

Between laundry soap, shampoo, other various soaps we probably collect and dump a ton of soap just from PHX every week. Nothing wrong with it but compromised packaging a lot of it is the high dollar stuff. It is non regulated as far as waste goes, but the retailers are forbidden from dumping it, and they get 100% credit from the manufacturers, so they figure that there is no point in marking it down. When hand sanitizers were nowhere to be found, we hauled it off by the boatload, that stuff is class3 flammable liquids though.

Lava is usually on hand here. I like the GoJo, Organge Goo, hand cleaners as well. I was raised taking showers with this stuff:

Speak of the devil! My wife just told me that stores are starting to impose limits and raise prices on things like toilet paper and paper towels again.

My question is a bit different. What the hell were people doing before about getting clean?!?!?!?! Scour with sand, homemade soap, ashes, sawdust, and very often just staying dirty.

Lava is some darn good stuff, but I still prefer the GoJo for heavy grease on the hands.

I remember washing my hands in a pan of gasoline to get the grease and oil off. Then Lava and water. I am surprised I still have skin on my hands.

Used auto transmission fluid mixed with a little gasoline will clean up your hands in a flash. It even removes Permatex gasket sealant. And I wonder how I got cancer ♋😏🤠!
