Good ol Steve Norse is the only who's got the tenon cutter tool after he bought what was left of the company who originally made them. I have that, but also cut tenons on the small wood lathe. I can only appreciate the work you put into fitting that stem properly with hand tools only; I did it in the past, it's a lot of work! Great job.

I have been trying to do stems for a few months now. I have a lathe. I still can't quite get the fit to look "factory" between the shank and the stem. Yours looks like most of mine do. Close but not perfect. It is not easy to pull off. Well done if you ask me.
