That store is 2 miles from my home. The gunman has a history with the police and has already lawyered up. Being asked to wear a mask in the store may have been the last straw for an already fragile individual. Thankfully, no one was hurt at the store.

 Cigars are dangerous, make a mistake and put the lighted in in your mouth, Oh Boy, buy a good deal, wife finds out about it, Oh Boy, light one up around the Smoke Nazis Oh Boy, Now a nice handgun laying around it doesn’t offend, jump up and fire until a man whose been denied his American right to not wear a mask. Decades of a non-existent or faulty Mental Health System have allowed these individuals to fall through the cracks of society. While there is no way to condone this behavior, it's a darn shame we are seeing so much of it. |

This guy definitely has some serious issues that go beyond being asked to wear a mask.

I spoke with at guy today at the B&M who was at CI when this went down. He said the guy was not aiming at anyone but it was still scary. Shot one in the air and 2 into the ground. One shot ricocheted and caught some stucco on the building.

Post script - when the cops came to serve a warrant, this guy actually got into a shootout. I'm amazed he survived.
