Unfortunately, here in Washington we're not allowed to cross the border...presumably to keep from infecting our northern brethren. Nice to meet you anyway.

Thank you everyone. I do look forward to the learning experience as much as any banter that may occur.

I have some free time and have been thinking about updating my introduction. I am certainly not a wordsmith, so here goes.
I am still a man of few words but am finding one here. Thanks to all of you and also my wife for suggesting that I take the plunge and join.
Since I have joined. I have learned what works best for me to clean a pipe.
I have started to learn what blends and cigars that I like. And am now keeping a log book.
I have learned what packing method works best for me.
I have learned that flake tobacco burns down to a white ash. Aromatic tobacco is another story, but still very much enjoyable.
I have been opened to a world of tinned tobacco. (Not that I have been enabled/encouraged in in any way).
I have been sent pipes and tobacco (so very much appreciated) from people that certainly are friends to me.
I have enjoyed a sense of humor that everyone here has.
I still don't have a clue how to post pictures. But considering that I am useless with a computer, and haven't accedentaly crashed the forum...
I think I may be trailing off here so...I'll end by saying two words. Thank you!

I didn't welcome you, either. So, welcome! I had been around for a few years before I figured out picture posting. You'll figure it out.

Thanks for all the welcomes! But let's save them for the new members. My main objective posting was just to give a slight update, just to catch up on my progress and maybe know me better.
Not a wordsmith... my time to shut up.
