Pics I post from photobucket are not showing up, though they used to. They do show up in the preview. I'm using the direct link, any other and they don't show up in the preview. Here's a test pic:   |

Photo bucket doesn't seem to work very well anymore on the free plan. Pretty slow and sometimes problematic with uploads. Looks like they might be trying to cash in now. Can't blame them but not worth it on this end.

I was having issues with photobucket and someone suggested I switch to Imgr, and that has been working great for me!

I was having issues with photobucket and someone suggested I switch to Imgr, and that has been working great for me! Imgur has given me the sharpest pics and trouble free results for several years now... |

Hi Simnettpratt, if I may, I have a question. Have you tried directly uploading from your PC by using the "add attachment" button instead of the "insert image" icon? I'll try again to make sure. If successful, ignore the image below.  Attachments:

I guess that's not the best way as I see double images. Hmm... Ok, this time I hit "Add Attachments" and didn't choose "Insert" this time in the dialog box that opened. Pic this time is for clarity purposes. Not sure why you would need to transfer everything to imgur at this point unless you want to. I was trying to save you the transfer time with that amount of data. Perhaps create an imgur for future pics as it's a nice service for the cost. Then again, with Google Chrome you can upload a FOLDER at a time to Google Drive/Photos and share from there I imagine. Big Blue E (Edge or Internet Explorer) can not do it at folder level, neither can Mozilla Firefox. Attachments:

David, I had the same issues with Photobucket after using their service for years on end. Justin recommended to switch over to imgur, like you did. I have no idea why Photobucket works so purely now and I have a large stash of photo there as well. Dang....

Thanks for the advice Foggy. Attachments would work, but all my 593 photobucket images are no longer on my pc - I need the room for all the photoreal scenery I have for Flight Simulator! Update: apparently to add an image to imgur, you have to email it as an attachment, as in, from your damn pc; it doesn't seem like I can directly transfer everything from photobucket. Yay. That said, I don't want to complain about free stuff, so... I refuse to use google anything because I hate them. Here's my pic I copied from photobucket to my pc added as an attachment:  |

Damnit, that's too small; I enlarged it in the preview which made it fuzzy, and it didn't attach larger anyway. I'll figure it out. Try this one. Me firing my full auto X7 with an empty pod on my hip. The holes in the leaves behind me weren't made by bugs.  And still tiny. Looks like it will be imgur after all. Thanks for the advice gang. |

While we have the ability to attach to the site, our storage space is limited. I always recommend photo hosting and Imgur is the top of my list... always. Photbucket sucks.

Yeah, I know attachment space costs money, that's why is was using suckitbucket as my host, which used to work just fine. And there I go, complaining about free stuff. I have my imgur account now, so will transfer my pics there through my pc as I need them. Boo.

I gave up on PB a couple of years ago and went to Imgur. Imgur is perfect for a tech boob like me.

Hi, I have not been able to see some images posted recently, for example, I cannot see any image from David, until he attached from his PC, & I never got Antb's image on this thread. The disappearing of images has only happened this month, as far as I can tell, but not all images, perhaps photo bucket or Imgur issues or my android tablet or google problems !
