Hello everyone. I am at times holding off enjoying a cigar on the balcony because I can have a light breeze or even wind. What size/gauge cigar is better for outdoors?
My general guess would be that a larger gauge would fair better in breeze or even light wind. Am I wrong?

I once was told by a fella in a cigar store that his best seller was 50

Rather than going by ring gauge, I'd select a tighter, slower smoking stick. Also, no matter what you choose, blocking some of that wind may be necessary and I tend to "cup" my cigars in the hand.

Or....12 gauge. It'll hold trajectory better at distance in high winds. The smaller gauges just seem to evaporate in a strong breeze.
I may have misinterpreted the word "gauge" however...;-)
