As I near 1000 posts ,I've been wondering how best to mark a tobacco related milestone. Tobacco seems the ideal gift to give yourself if you only have enough to last two lifetimes, so today I thought long and hard about what I don't have, and put the tobacco I have waaaaaaay in the back of my mind. I haven't had anything from Watch City, S.P.C. or Wilkie, so when I checked around and found that P & C .com had Plum Pudding Special Reserve on sale, my search came to an end. Four 4 ounce tins are on the way...now all I have to do is wait to hit the 1000 mark!  |

You should really try the Wilke blends. Really good stuff.

I'm telling ya'll Wilke 184, it's dry and sweet like white vermouth. A wonderful change of pace to the usual english blends I smoke.

Just FYI, Ernie, at Watch City, creates some really great blends. Depending one the genre you like, he will have something for you. I like some of the Wilke blends as well, particularly Crystal Palace. That said, you can't go wrong with Plum Pudding SR.

You've gotta give yourself these little rewards every now and then. I don't have any experience of your suggestions, as they're not available in the UK, but whatever you choose, I hope it's a nice way to mark your 1000th post.
