I thought the there used to be something other than Virginia tobacco but that is all that is listed on the new tin that I just received. Just an observation.

Its a pretty old question, does it have Perique and if so how much? My labels also don't mention it. I can't really taste any, but its a wonderful smoke regardless. It is still up in the air for me  |

Once, long ago before Ronv69 posed for his avatar pic and the Whigs were in power, tobaccos like perique, latakia, Drama, etc were condiments for different blends. Now people smoke them straight. Heck, even when I was being trained (back in the last ice age) a blend with 7% latakia was considered a heavy latakia! Anyway, adding a touch ( < 1% ) of perique to a blend made it interesting. Of course with the variance in different tobacco crops, popular labels actually changed the blend to achieve a consistent flavor year to year. Now they tend to change hands so who knows what the new company did differently from the last one.
