It was 100 degrees in the shade this afternoon, so which fool do you think was mowing his lawn? That's right, this one. Finished and it's down to 90, so it's time for some smoking. Up this evening: Sansepolcro in a Radice Rind Billiard with Faux Bamboo shank; WC Blue Ridge Special in a '49 Dunhill Shell LB F/T; and Sutliff Match 20 in a GBD Prehistoric 9448 with a Perspex stem. Cold beer on the side. Raymond Chandler to read.

Presently I have a bowl of 5100 in a bent brandy made by Ron of RdPipes. This was a Christmas present from Ron, back when he knew I couldn't afford one of his masterpieces. It is a pipe that along with the others that I have purchased, that will be the only ones, along with the one from Cramps, that I will definitely take with me if I have to evacuate because of a hurricane or other natural disaster.

Sutliff Rum and Maple in a Butz Choquin First quarter bent bulldog. I don't know where my pipe cleaners are, or my ash trays, or my lighters. I have to smoke a pipe then I stack it on a paper plate with the other dirty pipes. I am so sore I can barely move. ๐

KBV Yoshimi's Robo Burlesque this morning and afternoon. My first try was the other evening. I figured with the mention of chocolate, it would be good after dinner with coffee. It was ok, but not what I was thinking. But enjoyed it this morning in a cob with coffee. I think this one will become the alternate to KBV Burley Morning Pipe for morning smokes when off of work.
