Today I was puffing some unrubbed out SG Balkan Flake and early on it was expanding and jumping out of the bowl. As I think about it, SG flakes in general do this, much more than the tamer ribbons from Dunhill. Normally I like chunks in my tobacco. I enjoy the flavor bursts with some of the coarser American blends. And when I get the ember going, the smoldering chunks provide a lot of flavor with little puffing. Anybody with insights on this?

lucky in that dept Les, in all my yrs in that dept, never a burn hole in any clothing.
Reminds me of (I think) old Rodney Dangerfield classic
"I've go no respect OR luck at all. Bought a suit with 2pr of pants. Burned a hole in the COAT"!

Most all my t-shirts have burn holes in them regardless of the 'baccy. Could be a user operating issue.

Cube cut is the worst for me … always jumping out when I breathe back through the pipe.

Cube Cut gets me every single time. It never fails. As Ronv69 mentioned, those meteors from that other stuff have definitely destroyed many clothes, car seats, couches, etc...

I am convinced that Cintas uniforms have petroleum derivatives infused in the shirts...they have a high flam factor. As a result, I am constantly getting new shirts.

You can pick up fire resistant lab coats that would make a great smoking jacket as the weather permits. They are a tight weave and keep the smoke off your clothes if you have to go somewhere later.

Not illegal where I live.... Praying for a positive vote this November! Well, I'm in Texas. You can theoretically get life for a gram, though enforcement is way off. I don't expect it to be legal in my lifetime.

Cintas was my official uniform provider for 15 years. Most of us ordered other brands after that first "new hire" order... but the flight attendants eventually brought a successful group grievance against the company after a batch of uniforms actually made several of them sick, rashes etc, due to chemicals on the fabric!
