So what is the deal with Falcon Pipes?
I like the way some of them look, and that you can mix and match, but is there a functional aspect that I am missing like a Peterson System Pipe or the "magic inch" pipes
Thanks McG

The base is a little small for a cooling chamber. It's supposed to hold a filter that you make out of a 3/4 inch piece of pipe cleaner. They are kinda neat and have their place.

Favorite Pipe: New straight Falcon with a smooth billiard bowl
Favorite Tobacco: Newminster 403? Maybe ODF

I have two Falcons. Both are straight stems with a billiard and an apple bowl for them. I'm pretty new to pipes, but I can say that they do a good job of drying and cooling the smoke. The 'humidome' collects and holds onto the goop pretty well. The removable bowl makes for easy cleaning. I would say that the smoking experience is similar to MM corn cobs. The flavor is typical briar. So far the only issue that I have had is some of the condensation has made it up the stem into my mouth a couple of times. This can be prevented by using one of the little pipe cleaner rings that they sell for the purpose or by just not being as much of a juicy smoker as me. I think they're fantastic. For reference I have a Nording Compass and a Duca Carlo 616 (I think that's the number) along with way too many MM cobs. My 2 falcons get the most use by far.
