Hi everyone! I am Domenico from Europe! I am Italian but I live in Belgium since 3 years now. We can say that I am a new smoker since I started to smoke the pipe approx 4 months go. I only recently fulfilled my dream to have a pipe but I always loved the concept of taking my time to think at taste the moment. It was kind of a big decision for me since I never smoked. In my family they are all non smokers except my grandfather who is not alive since a long time. Unfortunately within my group there aren't pipe smokers so I had to learn by myself, YouTube helped me with that . However, it has been instant love and I couldn't stop myself to buy a second pipe, hence, I own now a Butz-Choquin-Montmartre and a Butz-Choquin-Regade-Prince. I am looking forward to receive feedback from you guys and exchange knowledge and opinions with experienced pipe smokers.

adding my welcome/greets from 50miles East of Buffalo, NY, USA. Can't say it better than the above posts. For me, only smoke heavy latakia blends for past 16yrs. Most pipes Italian, various makers
near 30 yrs on the railroad, decent partial pension. Everything there was seniority & I'll same here...at 12/40, I'm the oldest of the "old farts". A good time here...naysayers normally culled out quick by the modifyers.
Ed Duncan, Batavia, NY pipe/cigar since '62

Thanks for joining the group, we have people from all over the globe and another pipe-nut is always appreciated!😝
We look forward to your contributions, you may have picked up the pipe 4 months ago but everyone brings something to the table.

Just tried a bowl of "Tabac de la Semois - vieux bohan". It has been a very pleasant experience, taste of farmland and hay. Thanks for the advice!
