The last 2 nights I've tried to watch the first half of football games.They came on at 8:00 .At 9:30 They had played 30 minutes of the game.Then they took a half time break..During all that down time nothing but one commercial after the other..It's really hard for me to keep interest in such goings on.

I'm on strike against most all major sports.
Taking a knee and disrespecting our country, flag, national anthem, military and law enforcement officers!
I don't have time for it.

This is why you end up watching the SuperBowl by yourself (before the politics came in). You find yourself with a group of folks that talk during the game, then pay attention during the commercials. Really annoying. Wouldn't know the difference between man and 2-deep, or a screen and a draw. At least I'm going to miss another 8-8 Cowboys season. If we're lucky  |

You guys will be missed.
I haven't paid much attention to baseball or basketball in this weird season, but am excited to have the NFL back.
Unless the Bears are playing, I watch Red Zone with no commercials.

The average 3 hour football game has 12 minutes of actual action. One of the many many many reasons I eschew that particular past time. |

Been glued to Formula 1 this season. Much less drama. It's been an OK season, but nobody can touch Mercedes right now unless Hamilton gets penalized.
Golf has been very fun to watch as well.
The Tour de France was the absolute best I have seen since Lance left the peloton.
There's lots of sports to watch that aren't filled with social warriors and knuckleheads.

For an All-American sport that still stands for the anthem, proudly parades the flag around the arena, openly prays for the safety of the contestants and promotes family enjoying it all together, its hard to beat a good rodeo.

Watched a world cup Rugby match this weekend, very cool. I need to find out how it's played..Is there a web site that explains the rules. It's like American football but without all the breaks. You have to get the ball to the other side but you can only pass backwards. Rugby Union is much better than rugby league, imo (slightly different rules). |
