I've been smoking lots of Samuel Gawith #4 that I chop up in a coffee grinder (dedicated to tobacco only). Right now I'm smoking it in a Savinelli Silver billiard. I hope everyone's doing fine.

SG #4 is one of my top 5. I shave it into shag, and don't even bother drying. Darn good stuff. Before, some Brown Bogie in a Walter Hettinger flat bottomed Dublin. Now, halfway through some Sunday Picnic in a Basil Meadows Bing.

Some very tasty Lancer's slices in an old Royal Ascot bulldog, for starters...then more lancers with some bits of burley tossed in ,in a bent Dublin with bronze lucite stem, marked LaRocca Special...two pipes from my "bedroom collection", and both yard sale finds.

One of the best Latakia smokes out there, IMHO. I recently opened a jar from 2012 and it's amazing … time has been very good to it!

Also, since the other half is Latakia, there's enough of it that time won't completely dull it down as I've experienced with other lighter Lat blends.

crazy as it sounds ,I'm smoking a 50/50 of Lancers and my own black and gold, a blend of black cavendish and C.B. Gold...the pipe is a Dr Grabow freehand, and the smoke is sweet and creamy with a cool latt backbone.
