Is anyone in here a baseball fan? 2020 has been a weird season, but I'm glad there is finally some October baseball to watch. I'm an Astro's fan, mainly because I grew up an hour outside Houston. List your team of preference and we can root for them or take jabs at each other. Play Ball!

If I was going to guess who will end up in the world series I would say Yanks and Dodgers..These things though don't always go the way I think they will.

I'm from Houston and was an Astros fan, but both the city and the team have changed so I can't recognize them. I have given up on all sports except UH basketball and LSU football.

One thing I love about USA is the different sporting events that you can go to see. As it stands, while I'd love to love baseball, but it's not a big thing over here, and I don't have the effort to go looking for it.

Don't you guys have Criket that's like baseball without the spitting and constant jock itch.

Baseball is great. It's greatness lies in the slow pace, which is why you need a nervous habit like chaw or sunflower seeds, or a good pipe. It's also the ONLY sport that's almost as good on radio.

My Yankees were eliminated so the season is over form me. Let's hope that next season is somewhat normal.3 months to Spring training.

Haven't watched much of any sports for the last few years. Just seem to have lost interest. However have always been a 49ers and A's fan given my northern California habitat.

This week is the 31st anniversary of the Loma Prieta earthquake that took place during the Bay Bridge series between the Oakland A's and the San Francisco Giants.
A particularly memorable event for me because I missed being pancaked in the Cypress freeway structure in a tractor trailer 45 minutes prior.

Glad you missed it. The only World Series game I have ever seen was in 69, leaving San Francisco the pilot took a turn over the stadium.

I mis-remembered. It was 72. Oakland.

Rays beat Astros. Dodgers v Braves now. I don't have a dog in this race, but I wouldn't mind Rays v Dodgers in the Series.

However, if the Rays advance (maybe I should say when), I will be cheering them on. They seem like a great bunch of guys from a small-market city. It's hard to not like them.
