I have a pipe that I made several years ago that had an unfortunate encounter with a hardwood floor. The bamboo shank extension snapped off at the shank. I don't have the tools or the time to do my own repairs anymore, so I want to get this sent off to someone that can get it back into working order.
Looking for opinions on the best pipe repair person out there that can fix what for me is a very valued treasure.
Fire away!

Off the top of my head, you could try... jeffdjoemanI'm sure there are other repairers in our group, but I can't think of any at the minute (apologies to those who I've missed out). There are also more pipe creators, but I'm not sure if creating a pipe is in the same league as repairing a pipe. Perhaps one of the above might be able to help you.

Nice of you to drop in! Norwood Pipe repair has continued to be at the top of the list for many of us.

Mike at walker repair has done stellar work for me, not fast turnaround but again stellar work, on another forum a George Dibos is touted as the best, but I don’t think he’s accepting work, you can try.

I love those guys for that kind of work, and the Norwoods are good people.

If you don't care about fit and finish as much as price and turn around time then they are an option.

+1 for Anthony Cook @ cooksfinepipeworks.com. George Dibos recommended him to me on a couple of restores and the work was super.

I'll put in a second for Mike at Walker Pipe Repair. I've sent several pipes to him and he does an exceptional job. Plan on him keeping the pipe for up to two months, as you go into a queue and he has a lot of folks sending him repairs.

All of my experiences with Mike Myers at Walker Pipe repair have exceeded my expectations.
His stem work on a pipe from the late 1800’s really blew my mind.

Anthony has done some magical work for me also...back when Dave Wolf was still working ,Walkers was always my go to for repairs; I still hear nothing but good things about them.

I suppose since it's Halloween soon, Mike Myers is a fitting person to use.
