I had Sweet Briar years ago. I thought it was a top notch Aro in line with 1Q etc.

I had Sweet Briar years ago. I thought it was a top notch Aro in line with 1Q etc. Probably maybe because it might have been? Jack is not really a tobacco blender at all but instead a tobacco relabeler. At the most all he does is take a bulk blend and mix it with another bulk blend but like most tobacconists who have all these fantastic unique blends all they really have is a jar (or in his case a 5# bag) filled with a readily available bulk blend with there own unique name and modified description. Granted good discounted prices but nothing really unique about his offerings.

It has a completely different cut and profile. I just meant a really easy to smoke good smelling Aro. Sorry for the vagueness.

I have read many positive reviews of some, but not all of his blends. As I would expect from any blender's repertoir.

Don, lets get realistic for a moment. Jack closed his shop almost 3 or 4 or was it more years ago. It was said though he would try to continue online tobacco sales so he could get rid of what tobacco he still had but now 3 or 4 or was it more years later he is still selling off his tobacco stock? Are people buying well aged tobacco? Is he blending in his kitchen or his garage? Is he doing like 98% of all other shops that said they blended tobacco and instead just renaming readily available bulk blends in the backroom out of the customers view? So I ask you, if sit down and really think about it do you honestly think he is still "blending" or just maybe just renaming bulk blends.
Baboo ... within minutes of your "snarky" comment you made another "snarky" comment on another thread. Do you have some sort of problem with me? If ya do why not stop trawling and instead step out from behind the curtain and start a thread about whatever problem you have. You don't know me and I don't know you but this is now twice within minutes you've made "snarky" comment in my direction. Do we have some sort of problem between us?

I will give him the benefit of the doubt. He is still blending. You presented nothing that indicates otherwise. Nothing but unfounded conjecture.

I checked out their offerings. For me the offerings are light, since I enjoy Burley forward tobacco.
