I spent some time today, looking through boxes of old ,pipe related stuff...my t-handle reamer has gone missing ,and while I didn't it, I did find my old Kleen Ream Pipe Tool, 4 cork knockers, some cool old wood matches that look like a product of the Fifties, and two small boxes of old pipes. Of the ten or twelve pipes i found ,I pulled out two roadies, one Wally Frank, and a chunky little Whitehall Jumbo. Both have twin bead lines and clean medium walnut finishes, and both will soon be back to work. The final treasure was a carved bulldog, marked J.R. Cromie, an old boy with twin bead lines, a somewhat ugly carving job, and walnut stain that has darkened with the years . It has a screw in tennon, and after a few pipe cleaners, I fine it has a very open air flow. All in all a solid little pipe that'll make a fun project. I'm getting ready to clean and ream about a dozen pipes anyway , so it the perfect time to work these into the line-up...it's been a very good day, but I still miss my T-handle reamer

Good for you!
I wish I'd find a box of my old pipes from when I smoked 20 years ago - but I'm sure I got rid of them.
Really wish I could find the tobacco I smoked then too, but it was a house blend of a tiny shop at our local mall. They called it "Aces". It had a pouch note that was awesome. Even after I quit smoking, I had the tobacco around for a couple of years in a jar and every now and then I'd open the jar just to smell it.

When I quit the pipe for 30 years, I put my tobacco in the freezer. Mark Twain and Mr Henry. The latter turned out to be 1Q. Both of them were still good. I still have a little bit of the Mark Twain. Now if I could just find that Peterson System pipe that I packed away.
