I am hoping to find someone in Canada who makes pipes. Any Canadian on the patch willing, I would like to commission a pipe for hopefully march? I don't know how long it takes to make a pipe honestly.

Todd Bannard AKA Sasquatch of Briar, Sweat and Tears is a really good carver at a moderate price point. He can be found at PipeSmokersDen.com Michael Parks is a top of the line carver and IMO is the best artisan carver and blaster around! He's on Instagram.

Check out Stephen Downie out of Vancouver area. He makes some very unique pieces.

I believe Julius Vesz is still with us but retired. He did have a love him/hate him reputation but like you I enjoyed the time I spent with him in his shop. I collected him for a time but I still have an awesome large Gr 6 size Hand Cut Grade Canadian/Canadian in his signature oxblood red stain in the collection.

Not a pipe maker per se, but Steve Laug is a great pipe refurbisher and always has some great estate pipes for sale and reasonably priced, and get very little attention on most pipe forums. And the money he generates supports mission work to free young girls and women from the sex slave trafficking. rebornpipes.com/pipe-refurbishing-links-for-quick-reference/

I haven't seen Brigham mentioned here. The have a wide range of pipes and prices. I have a bent Country Club that is very nice although it's one of their pricier offerings.

I mentioned I am particular to Brigham in another thread. Maybe I should just stick with them. I appreciate it, you have given me something to think about.

If you like Brigham check out City Cigars in Vancouver or Cuban Cigars in Victoria (they both have websites). Last time I checked they had a decent selection and will ship out of province as it’s not tobacco.
