We appreciate that AZ does not change it's time … unless you're on the Rez.

Not much better here in the PNW. The short sunlight hours definitely want me to hibernate.

Right?? I have no idea why they do that.
Edit: Google saves the day:
To maintain consistent time throughout its territory, the Navajo Nation observes daylight saving time (DST) on its Arizona land as well as on its Utah and New Mexico land, even though the rest of Arizona, including the Hopi Reservation, an enclave within the Arizona portion of the Nation, have opted out of DST.

I'll say the same thing I said to my mom when she mentioned the time change. What is this time change you speak of? We in Arizona do not trouble ourselves with such trivial nuances. We just stay the same all ye around!

Hate it, Hate it, Hate it, Hate it, Hate it💩💩💩💩💩💩💩💩💩💩💩💩💩 But it was for the farmers! As if farmers looked at the clock to start working. It has always seemed stupid to be. It seems that if people have a job that depends on daylight, they could always start earlier. My last job as long as I got my work done my start time was flexible. But I worked inside. Being retired, I rarely know what time it is anyway.

I resent having to teeter on a ladder to change a wall clock twice each year.

I just talked to a guy at the shop who grew up on the Equator in Indonesia where they have steamy hot 12 hour days and nights 356 days a year. I hate the short winter days and I don't know how guys way up north can handle a couple of hours of twilight day at best for months at a time.

I have a friend and a nephew who have those clocks. After a couple of days I would be using them for target practice.

Let there be light at home instead of at the job site. Its not like there are any factories left in the rust belt to support the outdated concept. I believe shooting the talking bass would be more fun than the bird clock.

Not arguing, just curious. How are they dangerous? They're "nucular"! (W} Possibly, but I know for a fact (I can neither confirm or deny) I was exposed to radiation while in the navy. I also know from my own research that it is less than what we get from exposure to sunlight. So if there is a small amount of radioactive material in these clocks I am not afraid of that.

There is no radioactive material to the clock. It is a receiver for the Colorado atomic government clock."ItItIt's a joke, son" (Foghorn Leghorn) 😖😆😎🤠🤡

I would be fine with DST going away. We're retired, it doesn't matter. Yes it does. During DST I usually wake up between 6:00 and 6:45 am. The clock has changed but my body hasn't and now I'm waking up between 5:00 and 5:30. It's going to take another couple of weeks before my body regulates itself to standard time. Then, in the spring it will all get screwed up again.
