Greetings From a Pipe "Noob"
A few weeks ago, for no apparent reason, I decided I wanted to give pipes a try.
I did my due diligence and found that many experienced smokers suggested starting with a Missouri Meerschaum so I opened one of my Amazon gift cards and ordered the "Diplomat Apple"
After it arrived, I searched for a Tobacconist and found one fairly near me with good reviews. Barclay Pipe, Tobacco and Cigars.
Really nice folks that took their time fixing me up with the basics, showed me how to fill and light it, smoked my first bowl in the place and told me how to care for it.
About two hours later, I left with a pipe tool, pipe cleaners and an assortment of tobaccos to try.
So far I am very happy to join the Pipe Smoking Community!
