Well aged jarred HH Old Dark Fired... meaty spicy unsweet smokey-BBQ flavors... a powerful good smoke... Hmm, Never though of ODF that way but, I think your on to something.............must be why I like it so much.

Relaxing after a wonderful beef stew dinner, and the last of the chocolate meringue pie (it was hard to leave that last slice in the 'frig for dessert), with a bowl of 2014 Peterson 3P in a smooth straight 1980s James Upshall Walnut pot with a black vulcanite stem.

Been up in the mancave cleanin up a couple of ol briars and enjoyin this evenings tobacco medley. First smoke was Margate in a newly restored Yachtsman I'm now enjoying a bit of a guilty pleasure... SP Black Cavendish in a recently restored Dunhil Rootbriar Pot

52F, thunder and lightening outside before daybreak. Smoking MCkelland #5100 in a smooth James Upshall Tilshead Canadian, drinking Trader Joe's coffee and listening to NPR. Off to the ear doctor this morning and then to Trader Joe's for coffee beans.

Lunch was salmon. Smoking Uhle's #300 in an MM Diplomat, drinking ice tea with lemon then heading out to try and mow this afternoon before rain returns.

Starting off my smoking day with 2012 Rolando’s Own in a smooth straight Lane era Charatan Executive Extra Large stretch apple with diagonal channel cuts on the lower right and left of the bowl along with a black vulcanite double comfort stem. This pipe was formerly owned by actor William Conrad. A bottle of Sprite is my drink. Watching The Mayor of Hell starring James Cagney on TCM. Next is The Man with Two Faces starrin' dat Robinson fella, see. Myeah!

Molly's up to her usual antics, which means batting stuff around the den. She batted a couple of cat nip toys at my feet, which means she want me to play, too, so off I go, folks!

A couple minutes or so away from smoking MacBaren Virginia Flake in a late '90s half smooth/half etched freehand sitter, medium bend Nielsen Viggo with a pearl brown acrylic stem. A bottle of Cheerwine is my drink.
