This is not meant to start any type of political haggling, but I thought that it was a fair assessment of the situation. Sadly, neither party is a champion of smokers rights.

LoL! Generally when you have to qualify a post nothing good will happen but hopefully the executive orders banning Cuban travel will be reversed.
I really want to do a cigar trip to Cuba sometime soon.

It wasn’t meant to qualify the post, I just wanted to be clear on the intention... maybe that is the same, maybe not.
I like the way the writer analyzed it, it come across as a fair assessment, no matter where a person is philosophically, there is good food for thought on either side of the aisle, and hopefully cigar and pipe smokers can work toward a common goal when contacting their legislators.
