So as I've said before, being on the East coast of Canada, my tobacco choices are poor and price tags a bit much.
So I order online. (Better selection and much much better prices.) But it's a risk. Getting hit by customs can make the endeavor seem pointless. I've typically ordered from smoking pipes in the past and kept it under 200 grams and had pretty good luck. But with some of the things I've seen lately (including non-tobacco purchases) getting hit when normally wouldn't of been, has me a bit nervous. Smoking pipes in particular in terms of tobacco products coming through.
I know there are many different vendors to purchase from, but I tend to be a loyal guy and when I find a shop that treats me well with no problems I stay. Hence why I use smoking pipes. But as I said I've read some varied stories of it being hit lately.
So I guess my question is, are there any shops that ship a little more discreetly?
So as to pass through customs easier. Sounds crazy because I'm not talking anything malicious lol just some baccy. But I've been hit a couple times since covid by customs on lesser items.
Call me paranoid 😂

There are several tobacco shops listed in Halifax. You have to ask for the tobacco though because it's against the law to display it. Either way it's going to be an expensive hobby or habit up there. KBV and other small blenders might be able to help you out, but you will need to ask them.

There are several tobacco shops listed in Halifax. You have to ask for the tobacco though because it's against the law to display it. Either way it's going to be an expensive hobby or habit up there. KBV and other small blenders might be able to help you out, but you will need to ask them. Yeah shops are around if and when I'm able to get out to them but as you and I said the price is steep. Just trying to find a more budget friendly way. Especially now that things in my life have taken a twist and the wallets got to get tighter and tighter for a while at least. |

I don’t know the latest but at least in the past 4noggins.com was reportedly the place to go for discreet international pipe tobacco shipments.  |

I don't know what the law is there. It’s not much better out West with state restrictions etc. Pre COVID, living in a border town, it was easier to cross the border and drive north for pipe tobacco instead of driving south. Yes, taxes suck no matter which way you look. I’ve also discovered there are many local shops who don’t have a website making the search a bit more difficult. Hopefully you’ll be able to establish a relationship with the b&m of your choice and carry on from there. So far, I’ve never met a local shopkeeper who doesn’t want the business. With that in mind you may be able to find some quality tobacco. Keep the faith! |

When you can find a tobacco shop in Texas, the products are proudly on display. But if every person that values freedom and personal responsibility moved to Texas, it wouldn't be Texas anymore. I wish the rest of y'all the best of luck.

Get someone who can press tobacco into a Hockey puck. NOBODY would deny a puck to be imported into Canada.
