Took wife and her Prius to collision Center, very old lady popped her bumper in Grocery store parking lot while she was shopping. We had to cancel twice because of Hurricanes for getting an estimate. We arrive at center, young man comes out, wife gets out, they go around the car, he comes to my window and asks what is the mileage, I say I dint drive this car So I start punching buttons, finally I get it on screen. He finishes, and says we will send you the estimate via emai. I leave and have to go a mile up the road for a turnaround, road work on side of road with a 45 mph, I look down and it says 73,Woa I say, look around and there’s no way I’m doing 72,light bulb comes on in my head, when I punched all the buttons, mph turned into kmph, laughing I find the mph button. !

Back from Collision Center, they are finally picking up debris from last hurricane. I cut a cigar and wait , big truck with a grabber pulls up, Buddy goes to electric fence line and starts barking and growling, ripunning up and Down , One man say it’s ok he’s got a shock collar. They start picking up, I walk to observe, they are still giving Buddy the eye. Suddenly Buddy squats and takes a 💩, I yell at the guy operating the grabber and say, You know what he’s telling you, he says what. I say you’re doing a shitty job, the look on his face changed when I popped out laughing. I got him. When they left I told them what a fine job they did. In the old days I would have served them cokes and cookies, but with the Corona it has changed. Wife got on me for messing with them, been married 55 yrs, she ought to know me now.

Like a danged computer! I rode in one once. I am too old to drive one. I had one once. I liked it. The wife liked it more. We were looking to get her a new car - or a good used car. We came across a used Prius that was only 1 year old. I thought it was a great deal, but my wife wasn't sure if she liked it. I made the remark that she could have my PT Cruiser and I'd take the Prius. She agreed - which was surprising because she hated the Cruiser. I drove the Prius for about 2 weeks and she said she wanted a turn driving it. I never got to drive it again. That's OK though. I drove the Cruiser for a couple more years, then bought a Special Edition Mitsubishi Eclipse GT. That car was the hotest car I ever owned! It could (and did many times) hit 100 mph in ~1 block and THEN I'd pull it into 5th gear.

Had an Eclipse a few years back. Red. A pull-over magnet.

I had a fully loaded Suzuki Kizashi that we bought from a car broker that acquired it from Suzuki USA as a corporate vehicle...it had only 9,000 miles and was immaculate. Topped out at 145 mph, but then the wife rear ended a 4WD.
That was a sad day.

No spiders here!
Well when Suzuki pulled out of the USA, I was not so sorrowful. Parts were going to skyrocket and the value would have tanked. Sad, because that was a really nice car, and regularly a head turner, at least mine was.

Sad, because that was a really nice car, and regularly a head turner, at least mine was.I've had 2 Suzukis. The first one was a 68 little car with a 2-stroke, 2 cylinder, 25 horsepower engine. I drew the line at mixing oil and gas in a car so I took it back. The next one was a 1986 Samarai. That was a fun car. I had a custom top and BFG Radial A/Ts on it and it would go anywhere. We cried when we had to sell it because my wife was pregnant. It wasn't safe and it was really rough riding.

Daughter in Air Force , at Barksdale in California bought a Suzuki Samaria in the eighties, when she was discharged, my wife flew to California and the motored to Louisiana, via Las Vegas. Got a call from wife I Won! Turns out she won 5000$ at the Flamingo, daughter had a hard time pulling her away from the machines, Samaria stayed in the family, from me to oldest son, fun and tough little vechile.
