Milan triple crown in my morreti bent pipe. I use for English blends. boy I love that tobacco, I picked up a half pound last time I was in Roanoke, and smoked through it in nothing flat. I have a bag of Reflections in front of me, and it's good too , but nowhere near Triple Crown.

MERRY CHRISTMAS to all the pipe smokers around the World! My best wishes also for those who are ''On Duty" today. I am smoking J.M Boswell Christmas Cookie. PS: There is not such a thing like ''happy holidays" here in Greece for that day, this is only when the Summer vacations start.

Cannon Plug in the J. Everett Prince, mug of Bustelo, weighing my options. Start cooking soon or just order Chinese, kind of feel like being lazy for a day or two after this year.

Today has been great! Right now I am smoking some Peaches & Cream and this morning I had a bowl of Christmas Spice - both of which I found waiting for me in my stocking from my wife.
Hope everyone has been having a nice day

More Cannon Plug, in a Starfire this time, got off my arse to refill the coffee mug and threw some dough together while I was up, letting it rise while I decide what to do with it.

I decided to cut into some of the fresh whole leaf tobacco, and boy, am I glad I did!
I took two mixing bowls and decided to cut up a little of the flue cured Virginia in one, and some KY dark fired leaf in the other. I bought all grades of VA available; red/darker brown, lemon, orange and bright. I decided to use the red/brown varietal and I cut both this VA and the dark fired into a variation of really thin shoestring shag, and about medium pipecut shag. I kid you not, this Virginia that I'm smoking straight in my new Savinelli Bing tastes nearly identical to the varietal of C&D Carolina Red Flake and Sansepolcro. So much so, and so high quality, I feel very confident that when I mix the dark fired and this VA, I will have my own version of C&D Small batch Sansepolcro! Very high quality leaf. This VA was $3.65 per quarter pound. I'm stunned I'm so impressed. The latakia, dark fired, and grades of VA I got are incredible.
