Relegate to the Stupid Bin if you like, but how long does it take you fellas to smoke a pound of your fave tabac?

Approximately 3 to 4 months depending on frequency and what else is being smoked. It would only take about 1 1/2 months if I only smoked the one blend.

A pound would probably last me 10 months or more.

My very basic math:
9 bowls per ounce x 16 oz = 144 bowls
144 at 3 bowls a day = 48 days.

About 100g a week, if that were the only blend consumed then four-five weeks.

From the 18th century smokers companion, quoted in Weber's guide to pipes.
Them guys had serious street cred!

A pound of my favorite lasts a month, perhaps a few days longer. It's augmented by some of the other blends I enjoy, so I would say 4 weeks if it were the only one I was smoking.

Using my semi-well tested tobacco consumption calculator, at two pipes per day, 1 pound will last between 85 & 90 days. That is assuming 2.6 grams per pipe.

I think I would get terribly bored smoking one blend continuously. I rotate through about 15, and just pick what my mood fancies.
YMMV, obviously.
