Did anyone else bite on this today? It sounds delicious.
For this year's yuletide blend, we start with a mixed Virginia ribbon and cure it with Demerara rum. Our Crumb Cut Burley is cured with Jefferson Reserve Bourbon, and a precious hoarded cache of Gawith & Hoggarth Black Cavendish is given a light "burnt sugar" flavoring (think light caramel). This is not a typical aromatic! The flavoring enhances and steers the flavors of this Virginia/Burley mixture, but in no way overpowers them.
I picked up a pound. Can't wait to give it a try.

I bought some. I find almost all of Ernie's blends worth the effort. I think this will make my 27th of his blends in the cellar.

I guess it sold out within 3 hours. Some dude bought a pound, went on the internets and fueled the traffic.😝 J/K... based on the blenders reputation, It sounds like you did good.

Thanks for telling us "before" it sold out. I bet you bought 5 pounds and next week we are going to see a thread with Watch City Double Barrel for sale at $24 an ounce, lol
Just kidding. Enjoy, and be sure to let us know how it is. I have a love hate relationship with Ernie's blends.

My friends. My dear, dear friends. Take it all for yourself, leave nothing for the peasantry.

First time I’m hearing about this. Guess I totally missed the boat.
