Hmm, while looking at the forum, at work, with my vpn turned on, I got the message that my IP address was banned. I turned off and on the VPN and I guess I received a new IP address, and it worked fine. No, I didn't get a copy of the IP address.

Interesting. I just switched on VPN and it works fine here.
There is one site I visit that always gives me a BANNED IP message every time I have VPN active.

apparently no problem(s) here. Course not mr. technology & have no idea what a VPN is & probably just as well I don't. Bad things usually happen when try to play with the "inner computer"!

All depends on where your VPN is trying to route you through. There are a few countries that are banned as a standard because they are high threat risk.

When I was the IT Director for the payroll company I banned IP's for China, Russia, the Ukraine, etc. Then the danged clients traveled to those places and wanted to do their payroll from there. I would unlock it first for an hour, then a day, then permanently.

In that case you must be a pro herding cats too! Never part of my job duties, although several places I've worked had dogs under the desk.

Happened again. Doesn't like that particular group of it's I guess.
The owner of this website (thebriarpatchforum.com) has banned your IP address (54.183.203.98).
Just FYI, it's a Norton VPN IP.

Malwarebytes on my PC always blocks this site but I just click through it. I don’t get a warning on my IPhone though
