Mac Baren Navy Flake in a "made by me" Mark Tinsky kit smooth classic Billiard. In honor of Mark, I am trying his favorite smoke. I must say that it is sweeter than I usually go in for, and an aromatic but quite nice indeed. I am afraid I must eat some crow on this one. Have "foo-foo'd" aromatics up to this point but it is seriously growing on my now that I'm more than half way through a 3.5oz tin. I kind of didn't want to like it but if I'm going to be true to myself, it's bitchin! Will have to order up some more Mac B's navy Flake.

In the mountains yes, here not so sure. Are you hoping for the blizzard, or hoping it avoids you? in the mountains yes, here not so much.

Got a bunch of snow at the house but it's let up for the time being. The weather man has been calling for it since last Friday and nothing yet. Looks like that front headed into your direction instead. Enjoy your day and smoke in your little piece of heaven.

I had no idea it’s an aro too but delicious!

Carter Hall didn't scratch the itch. Smoking Double Down in a cob. I'll save the Carter Hall for warmer weather, maybe.

Eastfarthing in an MM Cob I was just looking at that, today. What are your thoughts on it? That was my first time smoking it. Just got it in the mail. It was a little too moist - wanted to bite. Definitely some mild sweetness to it. SO, my first impression was that it was nothing special - BUT I tried several tobaccos yesterday so my tasting ability may have suffered by the time I tried this one. I'll be giving it several more tries before I pass final judgement.

I have one more quick phone meeting. I am looking forward to this one. The patient is my daughter's age and has the same medical condition. Because of this I will help them just for the good.
Getting ready some Stanwell fruit and vanilla for celebration (I hope).

Late start tonight. I've packed three pipes but may not get to them all. Mac Barren Navy Flake in a Radice Rind Billiard; Pembroke in a Chris Askwith Morta; Sutliff Match Sunrise in an Arley Curtz Brandy w/bamboo shank. You have some very nice pipes, sir. Why thank you! I've a real mix of pipes, from my original four, from 45 years ago, to a number of estate pipes, mostly from e-bay and sellers on the forums, to several new pipes, most of which are forum LE's or POY's. The forum POY/LE pipes are a good way to get great pipes at significant discounts. One day I looked up and had over 80 pipes. I'm not sure how that happened. That's not true, I know how it happened, I just don't want to admit it.
