Finishing up a bowl of Morley's. Was going through the tobacco closet and found a mylar bag with some flake in it... looks and smells like Irish Flake, so I'll find out shortly.

Daughters & Ryan Rimboche' AB in a Peterson System Standard 312 P-Lip. P-Lips are definitely not my favorite. Had this pipe for years and rarely smoke it because of the P-Lip. Chasing it with a Bell's Amber Ale and a bit of Weller Antique 107.

Smoking an early morning bowl of GH Kendal Dark in a Dunhill billiard (the top one in the picture). The silver band isn't original; looks like it was added to strengthen a cracked shank. The silver band is inscribed "CIVIC" with some hallmarks below; does anyone know anything about these markings?

PS Proper English in rusticated bent brandy. While the pest control guy was here, visited about pipes pipe smoking he has smoked a pipe before and so did his dad or granddad so I fixed him up a new cob pipe regift from Charlie #2 and gave him pipe cleaners and 3 different aro's in sample bags labeled. He tried to pay me told him no several times finely told him about the forum and since I belong to it I can't take his money! Trying to pay it forward since so many of you here have shown me so much kindness. C pipe and tobacco pass it on )

Decided to break in my new MM corn cob with a bowl of Vincenzo Ag (Silver). This is a new blend for me as I was curious and ordered a tin based on its write up below:
Vincenzo Ag (Silver) - A blend of cavendish, Virginia, and Burley tobaccos cut in various widths to ensure an even burn. Medium-strength and scented with vanilla and almonds to provide a sweet taste and glorious room note.
At first glance, wet tobacco out of the tin but has a wonderful aroma which almost reminded me of an after dinner mint or chocolate. Definitely vanilla and almonds giving off a wonderful room note. Taste wise, found it one dimensional and lacking. Lastly, when I finished, it left a filmy residue in my mouth. This blend is definitely caked with tons of flavour.
My curiosity satisfied, average at best. Oh well... live and learn. Maybe it’ll smoke and taste better once the tobacco has had a chance to dry out. Fingers crossed.
