Two shots of Buffalo Trace Bourbon Cream in a mug of Black Rifle Coffee medium roast. The mug is a Ute Mountain Pottery mug that holds about two regular sized coffee mugs.
Smoking daughters and Ryan Rimboche S.J. in a Savinelli 320 EX Hercules.
Listening to the traffic from the highway in the valley as the sounds echo off the mountain behind my house. Lots of truck farts as they slow down to make the curve.

Smithwick's Red and a bit of Elijah Craig Small Batch. How'd you like that EC? I consider it a ripping bargain at $30 a bottle, which is what it goes for here. I like it a lot. Probably will have another nip later tonight.

I still love me some flat coke.
I get a Coke Zero 1 liter bottle and open it and leave it in the fridge. Coke Zero because I am diabetic. Day or two later it tastes great with a pipe. Carbonated drinks for me are a no-no when smoking. They just rude out my tongue. If I am in a hurry and haven't any flat coke, I take a fresh one and pour out a bowl of it. I leave the bowl in the fridge and it flattens out pretty fast.
I keep fresh unopened Coke Zero for the times I am not smoking.
Yea I get questions from those rummaging around in my fridge. I especially love it when someone comments that Coke Zero is not that healthy, and I tell them I like it when smoking.
I cannot repeat the rest of my answers here.

Met friends at a craft beer place. Had a flight of four 4oz beers. Like one called a Pecan Brown Ale. Had a 16oz glass of it.
Then went to a wine and cigar place, for wine. Had a couple glasses of an Australian Shiraz called Woop Woop. Haven't seen it anywhere for several years. Very good.

My sinuses have been killing me for a few days, hence almost no smoking. Toasted oolong with a touch of honey this morning to try to soothe the burn a little.

Had friends over for dinner. Put away some wine. Two dry red wines.
My wife, who doesn't care for (real) wine, drank a Strawberry wine that I made for her.
A 15 month old Toasted Caramel Port, that I made. It's tasting great now.
Later, a couple shots of Four Roses - Small Batch.

A little Traverse City Whiskey Co. "bourbon" infused with Montmorency cherries, barrel-proof. Has the essence of cherries, not syrupy, hint of sweetness up front. 110 proof.

Awoke this morning with a terrific head ache. A real skull bender.
Yes I had a few to drink last night. Mostly Bulleit bourbon. But I have been responsibly drinking for a lot of years, and this did not feel right.
I did the normal breakfast of champions: 2 Advil, 1 Zyrtec, 2 coffees. No relief.
A large bowled pipe of War Horse Ready Cut (black label). The one you can't get.
Head ache gone. Gone! Did nicotine contribute to the relief? I tend to doubt it. Only because I have been smoking pipe for a while too, and this would be a first. Timing was right though. Maybe the interaction of the Advil, Zyrtec, caffeine, and nicotine.
A few weeks ago I was looking up close at a river and there was this log that was jammed into the bank at one end causing a lot of loud turbulence. I managed to pull the log around and out of the water.
Right now experiencing the absence of pain, like a smooth laminar river flow after removal of an obstructing log.
May all your pains be relieved so easily.
