Wild Turkey 101. I think I like this one better in cooler weather. I had to change the freeze plugs on my 65 Chrysler Newport one January day. I drank half the 5th but got it done and I wasn't even a little bit drunk.

And some Highland Park 12. Partly because there wasn't much of that Elijah Craig. Partly because it's 5 a.m. and I'm still not sleepy.

I typically have never had a problem sleeping, but after getting our new mattress from Tuft and Needle, I find it impossible to stay awake...I am literally lights out in 15 seconds.

It's not by choice, no. Just how I'm wired. Been this way since I was a wee lad.

He is not willingly a night owl, but a night owl he is… been that way since he has a wee lad.

You sound like my son. He is not willingly a night owl, but a night owl he is… been that way since he has a wee lad. Delayed Sleep Phase Syndrome. It's a thing, though I didn't know it till I was pushing 40. Before that, I called it my "sleep inertia": if I was awake, I tended to stay awake; if I was asleep, I tended to stay asleep. The latter, of course, was just a product of the fact that I'd only fallen asleep 3 or maybe 4 hours before a "normal" or "correct" wake-up time. But I scolded myself about it for a long, long time. And got scolded by others, of course. Little did I know. There's also an Advanced Sleep Phase Syndrome, where people fall asleep at like 6pm and wake up at 2am ready to start the day.

Quite awhile back, Brian Levine interviewed Wayne Powers, actor, radio host, former tobacco importer that imports premium teas. We finally got around to ordering some, this is my first go around with premium teas. His website: tearex.com/Good stuff!

Out of all spirits!!!
Mercifully, Ruby opened her liquor store today.
Jameson on hand for later. Pricey here. Not many buy it so she jacked the price. Go figure!

Famous Grouse on the rocks, I prefer Teachers for a blended scotch, but for whatever reason, I can't find in my area. The Grouse does very nicely.
