Our Pipe club meeting will take place this coming Saturday on the 9th at 1 PM at of course the best venue in town, Big Sicks Fine cigars. It takes place on the same week as JRR tolkien's birthday, so it is as good a reason as any to fire up several bowls. Pipe night will take place on Wednesday at 5 PM on the 20th, we hope to see you at either or both.
No membership necessary, any adults as of age to legally purchase and enjoy tobacco in Arizona are welcome.

I will likely be there for a bit, but will have to leave early once again for a get together with some other friends. I plan to get there just before one and I'll likely have to leave around 3:30

We had a decent turnout, we had eight in attendance and had some great conversations and some great smokes! Terry, we got your email, and sorry that you could not attend. Dave, it is always a pleasure to see you, and if nobody else does, I always learn something new about pipes, tobaccos, and the hobby! The pipe club had a pound of MacBaren's Vanilla Roll Cake on hand for people to try and take as much as they wanted home with them. Most of us never smoke aromatics, but everyone agreed that this is a different animal in that regard. A pleasant smoke with a wisp of Vanilla that would be great at anytime, and especially when you smoke around people where you might want to smoke something pleasant with non smokers, but also feel like you had something with body in it. We also found out that Ye Old Pipe Shop in Phoenix will be closing the doors on January 24th, and moving into their sister location, Stag tobacconist near the metro center. We are saddened hearing that and wish them the best as they consolidate their resources in a financially difficult time for a retailer. They have a vibrant group of pipe smokers that we hope they can continue to support that shop, and are always welcome to join us if it geographically makes sense for them.

I have some of that, or similar. MacBarren Vanilla Creme. I enjoy it. Sorry I missed you guys, but as it turns out I would have had to bow out anyhow. I have caught what I believe to be a bad cold. Testing Monday to be sure that's all it is...

That bunch could use some masks, and I don't mean N95. 😜🤠
