It is an interesting article. We're either dehumanized cogs in an industrial machine, or peasants paying fealty to the lord of the manor. I rather hope the digital age has diminished the dehumanized cog situation, but perhaps the jury is still out. At least that's how I feel when I watch young people with faces glued to those little screens. Perhaps the dehumanized cog is evolving into the depersonalized digitron.

Wonder if those checks are still good. Safe America is still around. My banking place in 95 went through about four name changes.
