Henry "Hank" Aaron, aged 86, passed today.
If there ever was a more decent, honorable, dignified and capable Ball player and man,, let him be known now.

Wow... didn’t hear about his passing until now. Seems to me we’ve lost a few hero’s/icons in 2020-21. Sadly 2021 just got started.

Very sad. He was indeed a special man, and he will be missed.

Vaccine has zero virus in it. Just coating proteins. No way. What is happening is that when you give it to someone who is already on the edge of death, the attempted immune response can kick them over the edge.

...Doesn't a certain number of people that opt for flu shots actually get the flu... The flu shot contains no live virus. This is a persistent rumor, but in reality it is 100% impossible to contract influenza from the flu shot.

I am pretty ignorant about viruses and such.
I haven’t had a cold in at least 25 years.
I had the flu in 1986.
So I never see the need for shots, it must be my venom that kills everything off.

I’ve just heard Larry King passed away this morning. Not to take anything away from Mr. Aaron, Larry King, as a journalist, had access to many key movers and shakers of our time. Two icons lost and we haven’t closed out January yet.

In the 70s took my family to Houston to see Hank Aron play, he was on the bench, didn’t play, big disappointment.

Yes. I was saddened to hear the news about Hank Aaron. I have read a biography "I had a hammer". It was very interesting very well read. R.I.P. And enjoy that big ball diamond in the sky.

Larry was alwqys fun and in his later years you could listen for his farts. Farts are always funny no mater how old you get. So long Hank you were fun to watch when i still watched sports.

As a kid I remember watching the count down to Hammering Hank braking the Home Run record. I saw him DH for the Brewers against my Twins in the cheap seats at Met Stadium!
I enjoyed Larry King on radio and later on CNN. I really liked his style and was sad when his show ended on CNN! RIP
