I was reading the other post about tobacco pouches and instead of hijacking that thread I thought I'd make a new one. Anyway, a little while back I purchased one of the above mentioned pouches. Has a zippered place for the pipe, separate zippered area for tools, pipe cleaners, lighter etc. and a descent sized tobacco area. Opening snaps closed. The tobacco holds enough tobacco for at least 2 good sized smokes, probably more. The pipe area is for an average sized pipe, fits my Starfire I use all the time just perfectly.

Nice, Kevin. Good to hear about another option.

I have one of theirs. It's very similar to the Peterson that I have a couple of. I probably have 6 different pouches that cost between 15 and 120 dollars. I rarely use any of them because I only smoke at home.

The wife and I don't smoke in the house. Just a habit we got into a long time ago when my Mother was still alive and living with us. It's either too cold or too hot for me to smoke in the garage, so I usually go to the local casino bar, have a pipe and a couple of beers.

Although this winter hasn't been as bitter as some, I'll admit that temperatures below 40F don't add any pleasure to an evening smoke. I have to do my smoking outside or in the garage; whether at home or at my friend's. Bill has one of these Mr. Heater units that fits on a propane tank. I already had a bunch of the smaller tanks from when my younger son was in the Boy Scouts, so I just got a smaller unit that is similar to this one, although mine has a bent metal base for added stability. The little tanks last a couple hours. Both are sold by your local Big R and the Fernley Lowe's. We just put the garage door up about an inch (enough to allow the heavier-than-air propane to sink and dissipate), and we're good to go. I'm familiar with summer in the American Southwest. I have absolutely no advice for you there other than to suggest you install an A/C unit in your garage Since casinos are plentiful in NV, it sounds like you already have a pretty good plan worked out.

Could you please provide a link? For some reason, my Google-Fu is weak and I'm having trouble finding this pouch.

I can't have that kind of heater. Anything with an open flame is verboten in my apartment complex, even on the patio. I've got one of those heating pads that wraps around almost like a vest, for when it's sure enough cold.

Ah! MM is "Missouri Meerschaum." Haven't picked up on the acronyms and terminology yet. Thanks very much!
