I got a 4th Generation (Stokkebye) leather fold over pouch last year...very happy with it...I use heavy duty plastic baggies that I put a certain blend of tobacco in and then put that baggie in the pouch. That way I don't infuse Lat. or Lakeland aroma's in the pouch. Switching out baggies is easy and I can carry about 50-60 grms with me at all times.

Northwest Gentlemen is the one my wife got me a year ago Christmas I travel all the time it is in my bag or lunch box or on the desk of the locomotive. So after 200 days on the train it has held up very well. I do roll it up and stick it in a Crown Royal bag. Thier stuff is not cheap but holds up

Those Viking pouches look quite sturdy. They do. I received that canvas-and-leather Comoy's pouch I had to order directly from them. I would say the interior leather bits are probably not the most durable you'll ever see, but should be fine under normal use. Will try to post some pics later.

Charlie, I know we discussed this before via pm. I’m curious, if you had to choose, which one would you pick in that link and why? Thanks brother! 👍

Ted, if it was just a pouch I reckon any would do, but the pouches I had for just tobacco never got used because I also need a place for pipes, pipe cleaner, tamper, pipe stand, lighter matches...and I like having more than one pipe. So out of all of them I would probably go for the Stanwell 2 pipe case with snap-out tobacco pouch, having the snap out pouch would be a plus in that regard. If you can roll with just a pouch, a zipper is nice, and probably seals a bit better than just a rollup, but if they cut corners and put a cheap zipper in, you won't be happy. It is not a bad idea to put tobacco in a ziploc sandwich bag before putting in the pouch if you are all over the map on what your smokes are, or your heavy Latakia blends will possibly affect how your Virginia's taste. I carry a 5 pipe case leather bag that I bought as an estate bag inexpensively compared to this white spot 5 pipe bag at smoking pipes, but it has the same construction as far as I can see with the details. www.smokingpipes.com/accessories/pipe%20accessories/moreinfo.cfm?product_id=237273For work, I use the Maxpedition Fatty pocket organizer...it carries more straight pipe than bents, but that is the case with all pipe bags. www.amazon.com/Maxpedition-Fatty-Pocket-Organizer-Black/dp/B005257ZDS/ref=sr_1_1?crid=2VVLENGAPIENS&dchild=1&keywords=maxpedition+fatty+pocket+organizer&qid=1612063735&sprefix=maxpedition+fat%2Caps%2C216&sr=8-1

I bought this pouch a couple of years ago in order to avoid getting a ribbing from the fellas while playing dominoes. www.smokingpipes.com/accessories/pipe%20accessories/moreinfo.cfm?product_id=224310My feeling on the matter is that it's a pretty good size to carry a pipe, tobacco, lighter, czech tool and folded pipe cleaner. It does have two flaws though: 1) Depending on the size of the lighter it can slip out as can your pipe and 2) the pouch has an unlined and unprotected pocket for tobacco making it necessary for you to use a sandwich bag to hold it. Given that I was using a sandwich bad to carry around my tobacco in the first place, the pouch, in my case, mainly serves an aesthetic purpose. In all honesty it was overpriced when I bought it but it works well enough and I do use it. It's probably worth using SOMETHING if only to keep everything together but you could probably reappropriate a shaving kit or a shoeshine kit or some other container you already have around the house.

That's very similar to mine from Soringowl. 👍👍
