I've also got some C&D Yale Mixture open... Do you have Rudy Vallees Whiffenpoof song to listen to while you smoke it? No, but I have a personalized classical music channel on my Pandora feed.

A 50/50 mixture of Lane Vanilla Black Cavendish and Sutliff Dark Decadence in an Alpha Cameo rusticated volcano. Curious to know how it turned out? It's good. Smoked it several times. Thinking about going 60/40 with the Vanilla Black Cavendish making up the larger portion.

2013 Capstan Gold Ready Rubbed in my RobE mini-Dublin with partial plateaux rim and spalted maple stem accent. Thoughts on Capstan Gold? The March and April 2013 tinning is something special per Mike McNeil (McClelland) and Steve Fallon (Pipestud). A batch of exceptional leaf happened to be used for it. Thatās what Iām smoking and it is spectacular. Iāve smoked several tins of this vintage and have many more stashed away. Sorry, I canāt give an opinion on Capstan Gold in general as Iāve only ever had the March/April 2013.

Had some of the Sutliff Stoved Virgina in my Comoy smooth bent billiard. Comoy is marked R605. The Stoved Virginia has a wonderful aroma in the bag, but started off pretty mild. However, the flavor grew as the bowl progressed and finished with a bang. I've seen it described as a dark fruity flavor and I think I agree with that. Made for blending, I'll have no issues smoking it as is. Only $2.24 an ounce for 2-3 ounces, cheaper for even more. Available at P&C. Sutliff gets a bad rap, but the stoved Va is pretty good. Not McClelland good, but adds some sweetness to things I want to be sweeter. Nightcap in a basket billiard as a, well, night cap.

I'm sure it will be painted over soon as it doesn't reflect the current popular opinion of Washington.
Notice the ''Fasces" (Fascio) in the hands of the ''Libertas" (Liberty) on his right.
