GL Pease Jack Knife Plug in Old Morris straight stemmed freehand. After 30 years of smoking a pipe, this is the first plug I’ve ever smoked. I wasn’t sure of the proper method, so I just cut a chunk off with my pocket knife, broke it apart with my fingers and stuffed it in the bowl. That must of been right, cuz it’s smoking fine.

Thank you. I bought this estate pipe at a shop in NC when my first grandchild was born. I’ve never been able to find anything out about the maker, but it smokes good. And it looks good 😁.

Sounds like a house pipe. I have a few house pipes from Grant's in SF and Bertram's in DC, many of these old shops had some fine house pipes. www.oldmorris.com/about-us/

Hoisting a bowl for Rush L. tonight.
I met him years ago in Sacramento 1987, a real gentleman and an intellectual genius.

Usually a contract with a pipe maker to put the store stamp on. Some really great pipes made by great pipe makers have entered the marketplace that way.

From what I know about you DeWayne, based on your posts, it seems to me that this pipe is an excellent extension of who you are. I can actually visualize you smoking this pipe, sitting on your horse, getting your chores done. Cheers brother.....😁👍

GLP Piccadilly in a even dirtier Sommer Nice! Although it’s categorized as an English blend, I understand it’s also a bit of a Latakia bomb. I’d appreciate hearing your thoughts brother?

It is light English with lots of red and perique. If you smoke it gentle enough each sip is almost not the same. Is it a vaper a English or a Virginia. Coffee, citrus, white pepper, smoked camel dung Latakia.

I'm pretty sure Latakia is cased with Open Pit barbeque sauce
