The Latakia Roll looks promising. D&R Rinpoche S.J. in a Washington cob. Oops, Rimpoche, not Chogya Trumpa Rinpoche. Edit:. Chögyam Trungpa Rinpoche. My Tibetan is a little rusty. O mani padme hum. There. You’re good to go.

Some Oriental silk in a cob. New to me blend. It’s a Virginia oriental with perique. So far I’m enjoying it.

So. Have been back out twice with that Same bowl of MCB Vanilla flake. The first time out. There was a nice flavor faint in the background. But barely noticed it on the 2nd attempt on the same bowl. Now this last time. Granted 3rd relight. Did nothing for me at all. It was just smoke. Dumped at least a quarter bowl. I will try again in a few days, when I don’t have to start and stop. Maybe it will be better on spring or summer mornings with coffee🤔

HH Burley Flake in sandblasted bent Barlings. First time smoking this one NK, and everyone else , I’m just venturing into the burley tobaccos. I have Plum Pudding and Haunted Bookshop is on the way. I’ve asked other members who are burley smokers and would appreciate hearing from you. Any burley blends you’d recommend I should try? Thank you!

Like you, first time out was awesome but the longer it sits, the less impressed I am. I don’t believe it ages well. As I don’t want to dump out the rest of the tobacco, maybe sprinkle a little bit with my Vanilla Custard? Will let you know how it turns out.

Since it was the test drive. I won’t give up on it yet. But now in my 5th year of the hobby. I have a good idea what will and what won’t work for me.

50/50 blend of Golden Harvest Extra and Visions of Celephaïs. The GHE mellows out the vanilla yogurt flavor of the Calephaïs. The spiral fill method I learned from the James J. Fox video continues to work well for me. Far fewer relights and nice, even draw all the way through the bowl. I ditched the filter in this Grabow freehand/Dublin. I'm enjoying this pipe so much I'm thinking of getting another one... or 2...

Charlie’s Chance in a MM Emerald. Kind of forgot about my crumb tin. Was it a bit dry? I don’t think I had to strike the lighter to get it lite😝

Haunted bookshop in a meer. I like it better then when I first it but I’ll see if it grows on me as i smoke my way thru the rest of this oz I purchased. So far the thoughts are I’d pick up a pound of oriental silk. Still need to try the Pegasus I got as well.
