Have a few irons in the fire but, this one is the closet to being finished, a Rhody with a Honey Cumberland saddle stem and Maple Burl inlay. Going to partial blast this one from the ring to the base leaving the top smooth. I've been doing a lot of Bulldogs and Rhodesian's of late. Been really enjoying making these and it seems a lot of people are liking them.

Wow! Very impressive indeed! Wish I had your talent and patience. Being a retired Gunner, I if I can’t do it the first time I just want to blow shite up!

I get that feeling ever so often but, I walk away, have a pipe and then......... yell to the top of my lungs! Then calmly go back at it. LOL!

Lovely lines to that pipe. What's a typical weight, Ron? Thank you sir! These being made out of Italian Strawberry briar weigh around 45 grams - 50 grams finished, while Grecian Briar is more dense adds 10 grams easily. These are fairly large pipes because I tend to follow the Italian makers of the 80's and 90's having always loved the Italian pipes such as Mastro De Paja for one. These tend to be 2"W x 1-3/4"H x 5"L .

Excellent work as always, Ron. I particularly love the stem work. The stem on the Blue Twist is a real work of art. I don't know why he took down the picture. 😭🤬
