Here's one I just finished this morning, another Blasted Rhodesian. This one has a hand cut (of course) Limited Edition SEM ebonite stem with faux Ivory inlay and is Sold already. Next I'll be working on a couple of Bulldogs which I need to get started so off I go to the shop and inhale me some briar and ebonite and maybe even squeeze in a bowl or two. LOL!

The artist in you comes out in all you do...not just a good looking pipe but a work of art, too. Many folks can make a pipe but the artistry is something that you need to have in your soul.
Great work, Ron...as always!
Wish I had more disposable money....sigh. I'm just glad to have the 3 that I have now.

Here's another although not on the bench anymore as of this morning in it's finished state that was commissioned by a member here. This one is also crafted out of Strawberry briar and with a hand cut Cumberland stem with a Hackberry inlay.

The most resent commission will soon be on it's way to my house. To say I'm happy would be an understatement. If the weather was warmer ,I'd camp by the mailbox till it comes!!!

Ron, while most of the pipes you make are not my preference from a shape standpoint, I am not in any way blind to the fact that they are absolutely exquisite pieces of craftsmanship and art. Very impressive work. Keep it up.

I wasn't being sarcastic. I thought you might have a slightly wider view of acceptable shapes.

I love them all aesthetically. I truly do find many shapes pleasing to the eye, I just find myself very much married to the Bing shape for a daily pipe.

You pushed me over the edge & ordered a bing, Sav just now. Was resisting because I couldn't see from photos how it would differ that much from a Canadian, smoking wise.
