I have an app on my smarter than me phone.Each day it sends me what it calls the word of the day. Today's word is portmanteau.It means a word that is made up of a shortened combination of other words..Such as motor hotel becomes motel..Express your opinion please..Should I continue this or just let it blow away in the wind?

Larry that is a good mind excerise, as we get older the old sponge needs to work, keep on and when you get a real cool one share it with us.

I would also continue with it, Larry. I have an app called Clockwork Brain that I believe is like a mental gym session. Anything helps as you get older.

At young parties, for us auld codgers,it is better to be silent & hide behind a slow drink , with earbuds in , listening to a good audio classic book & quote something profound every now & then ,we have the technology, even an Android can do the trick 😇😀😈
