C & D Night Train in the Savinelli Bing. Haven't had this in about six months. It's going to take a couple bowls to re-acquaint myself with this blend.

I bought a couple 8 oz. tins for the cellar. Decided to open one of them up tonight. Had a bowl and was kind of underwhelmed. I think it'll take a few bowls to "get it" again. The same thing happened with a tin of McConnell Scotch Cake. First bowl was meh, 2nd bowl was better, then I went through that tin in no time.

The man on the left on that ''A.C Poirot" episode was not only a ''heavy" pipe smoker but a drinker (whisky) too. Bill Bailey's Best Blend.

Started the day with Haunted Bookshop in a MM Diplomat Apple with coffee, as usual. Going to move on to a couple that I haven't had in a while. Decided to pull a couple blends out of the cellar to introduce a little variety.

C & D Night Train in a MM Diplomat Apple. Getting notes of dried fig in the jar. Rich burley flavor, a bit of brown sugar sweetness, pepper from the perique. Diggin' it.

Smoked another bowl of Night Train in a MM 5th Ave Diplomat. The deeper bowl brings out the depth and richness of this blend. OR, maybe its just my taste buds waking up. Now I remember why it was a favorite last summer/fall.

Happy Friday, everyone. Work's done for the week, went to visit my Dad. Smoked Night Train on the way there and Haunted Bookshop on the way home. Beer and a smoke up next. Gonna load some GLP Cumberland in a cob and relax. Maybe a short nap, maybe not. Fish and Chips for dinner tonight. Carry out from a local restaurant. Hope everyone's doing well.

Marlin Flake in a MM Mizzou. Fizzy water with Cranberry Blueberry juice. Marlin Flake is on my wish list. The description in the reviews I've read would make this an immediate favorite. When it becomes available, I will stock up.
