L’anatra rusticated lumberman With SG Squadron Leader, jar date 3/17. Gin and tonic outside as the sunsets. Fire in the Chimalaya. Once that sun got behind the mountains last night. The temp dropped 12 degrees.

Have a small window of opportunity to look for another tobacco. So, it's time for a bowl of Crooner in a MM Great Dane Spidle. Labatt Blue Light to hydrate. On the very rare occasion that I have a Labatt blue. I picture my father reading books, drinking Labatt blue and smoking cigarettes in his chair by the window. And I remember when he got drunk tired and the way the snoring started. Great memories 👌. Labatt makes me think of Escanaba in the Moonlight.

Man I wish I had a job where I could be wrong 99% of the time and still get paid. Weatherman called for showers today. Boy was he dead wrong! Nothing but sunshine and blue skies. Spent the day at the office with Erinmore to start and Plum Pudding to end my day.

Had some Watch City Fat Bastard in my Paronelli Diplomat. I've had 4-5 Watch City blends now and they've all been winners. Got a bit of tongue bite though.

Recently opened a can of GLP Samarra. A first for me. It’s very generically labeled and unassuming, but very tasty. To me anyway. I have a small crush on red Virginia, which is its base. Added to that, Cyprian Latakia, oriental, lemon Virginia, touch of Perique. Has been a lovely experience thus far. It has nice layers, one of those morphing bowls that keeps your attention. Great smoke for me right out of the can, but looking forward to it evolving... that is, if i can keep it around. If you’ve had it hope you enjoyed it. If you haven’t, I’d say it’s worth a try! Be well! Thanks for this. I've been very interested in that blend. I'll confess the reason for my interest, though, has nothing to do with the ingredients. It's down to my having thoroughly enjoyed the novel Appointment in Samarra.

Kindly let me know when you get some Urb as my tobacconist doesn’t carry it. Yes... I will mooch some off you! LOL... just kidding.

And yes, I find it to be quite good. Unfortunately it was the bottom of a jar, so a little dry and cumbly to pack, but smoked just fine. You have a good day, too. On to Haunted Bookshop in a cob with a can of Ginger Ale.

Started my Sunday morning with Haunted Bookshop in a cob and a couple cups of coffee. Smoked a nice variety of flakes last night (C & D Vixen/Peterson Irish Flake/Mac B Navy/Newminster 400 Navy) in a variety of pipes, while enjoying family time. I have enough left over in the prep bowl for a couple bowls this afternoon. Pulling together the ingredients for a pot of chili for today's dinner. Hope you're all having a great Sunday!
