Crazy day at the office today. Started off with MacB Plum Cake and Dunhill Flake for the second half. Was on my way to shoot 76 when Mother Nature intervened and unleashed her fury on the 15th. Every green on the course was covered with hail in a matter of minutes.

Recently opened a can of GLP Samarra. A first for me. It’s very generically labeled and unassuming, but very tasty. To me anyway. I have a small crush on red Virginia, which is its base. Added to that, Cyprian Latakia, oriental, lemon Virginia, touch of Perique. Has been a lovely experience thus far. It has nice layers, one of those morphing bowls that keeps your attention. Great smoke for me right out of the can, but looking forward to it evolving... that is, if i can keep it around. If you’ve had it hope you enjoyed it. If you haven’t, I’d say it’s worth a try! Be well! Thanks for this. I've been very interested in that blend. I'll confess the reason for my interest, though, has nothing to do with the ingredients. It's down to my having thoroughly enjoyed the novel Appointment in Samarra. You’re very welcome, I’d assume you’re planning on enjoying them together? Hope you enjoy it! I’ll have to check out that novel, I once enjoyed a bowl of blood red moon while watching a blood red moon. Seems like one of those things, like eating pigs in a blanket, in a blanket.

You could mix it with some Meridian and have a bowl while reading Blood Meridian.

While the princess is busy washing her hair, I've snuck out to the garage for a bowlful of my 1/2 MacBaren's Scottish Mixture, 1/3 Golden Harvest Extra, 1/6 Plateau of Leng. This is really ticking all the right boxes for me, and I'm seriously thinking about buying enough to mix up several mason jars full of this stuff!
